Baby Update & Nursery Progress

Things in the Normant household have been pretty quiet lately. We aren't getting too used to it though! As our doctor's appointment keep coming closer together, we've been doing all kinds of things to prepare for Grace's arrival. At today's appointment, the doctor said everything looks great and suggested a new OTC medicine for Carolyn's increasing heartburn - we're hoping for the best!

August has been full of classes at the hospital. The Prepared Childbirth classes are almost done - three down and one to go. They have been helpful and Duane has found them interesting as he learns all kinds of information about labor. We even braved a breastfeeding class!

Grace's nursery has also been receiving much attention. The finishing touches are now coming together as we have slipcovered the very comfy chair that once looked completely out of place, applied a wall decal with Grace's name and a Bible passage above her crib, and have been finding places to store or display all these things the Little One "needs." We're happy to show you how things have come together!

Gorgeous nursery, I love it. The decal is soooo beautiful. We already have our little girl, and I still haven't quite finished her room up enough to post pics. You guys are really on top of things!
I'm sorry you are having heartburn. You know, the old wives tale says that means she will have a full head of hair. =)
