Although today was a day without doctor's appointments, it was a busy one. With so few days left before Grace arrives, I've been trying to make the most of each day. I expected to spend most of the day at home and was glad to be able to do so.
I had a lovely time Saturday with a group of ladies from our church as they threw a shower for Grace. Today I was able to launder her new outfits, fuzzy blanket, and a couple of fleece sleep sacks that we received as gifts. Everything is finding its place in her room quickly!
The rest of the day consisted of more laundry, a quick nap, a shopping trip for some comfy pants for after Grace's arrival, writing notes, and working on getting the envelopes prepared for birth announcements. I also took a few moments to order an adorable Halloween costume for our little pumpkin which Duane and I have been interested in for a few weeks (can't wait to share the pictures when the time comes!).
It is so nice to check some of these things off my to-do list while all is still calm! However, we are eagerly looking forward to our hectic "new life" that will soon be here and hope to treasure every moment we can spend with our little Grace!
