Five months!

As I put the 5 month sticker back into the package after taking these photos the 6 month sticker now in the front of the album began to stare at me. It hit me - soon we will be closer to her one year birthday than we are to her birth day. As everyone tells new parents, the time passes by much quicker than you can possibly imagine!

This past month Grace has continued to be such a blessing to us! Her smiles, cooing, and curiosity just melt our hearts every day. She is an utter delight and we pray that we find a way to let her know this often as she grows and matures.

We are thrilled to share Grace's new accomplishments and joys from this month:

• She has begun to roll over. This is by no means a daily occurrence, but she is able to roll over from her tummy to her back. Much more often she rolls onto her sides to play or sleep when we have laid her on her back.
• She has adjusted to a new schedule which has given Duane and I more time together in the evenings.
• She has continued to gain dexterity and can grasp and explore her toys in a way she was not able to last month.
• Music and lights attract her attention and she finds her musical toys very entertaining!

This next month is sure to bring so many improvements in her strength and mobility and we are looking forward to so many more firsts. I am also looking forward to the joys of spring - it can't come fast enough after this winter!
