Our little Gracie gave me quite a wonderful first Mother's Day! Somehow she must have known it was a special day and woke up in a great mood sharing generous "kisses." The Grace kiss is at the same moment so sweet, adorable, and disgusting! I can't help but take every single one that she offers me :)
Time certainly is flying past us as we have reached 7 months at what seems like record setting pace. The last few weeks have been a real joy to Duane and me as Grace is continuing to grow and interact with us more each day! A few things of note this past month:
- Grace has her first tooth! As soon as I can actually capture a photo, I'll share :)
- She has gained so much strength and confidence in her own mobility. We will set her on a blanket on the floor and within minutes she will have rolled and scooted her way across the room!
- She is happy to stand holding onto the fingers of "big people" :)
- Grace is developing a sense of humor. She'll often giggle and smile at things around her and loves tickles and silly faces. Most of the time we have no idea what she is laughing at, but that takes nothing away from this sweet sound.
This last month also brought her first visit with Grandpa M. He was only able to be here for a few days, but we enjoyed our time with him. We were happy to be able to visit Fort McHenry together.
We also enjoyed a lot of time at home to talk and play together. Grandpa spent some time with his mom and sister too as they came down from New Jersey to see him!
