Christmas in New Jersey

This past Christmas, Carolyn and Iwent to NJ for Christmas. I had to request off work to get to go and they weren't going to let me until I explained that my 91 year old grandfather wasn't doing that well and my parents were going to Florida for 6 months, and I wanted to get home and see them all. My parents going to Florida didn't phase them, but my declining grandfather did. Iwas told it was favor, God know what they will ask in return.
We stayed with my parents and seem to be on the go almost everyday. Christmas eve, we drove up from MD, after I worked until 3pm and went to my brothers, where my dad's family was, and then christmas day, we spent at my parents with my mom's side of the family. On friday, We went and saw Carolyn's aunt Lorie. She had sold her home and moved into her small shore house that we were living in before moving to MD. We were on our way to meet Carolyn's friend's Shannon and Peg, who Carolyn used work with at Cmml. We had a nice visit while at the aunt's, I moved a tv for her so she would have counter space. Her house was very VERY packed with stuff from her old house. It was amazing everything fit into the house, she had stuff in the bathtub even. It was something. We had a nice time with her and were happy to see her.
We also had a nice time with Shannon and Peg. We were suppose to see a movie with them but it never worked out. When we left Shannon and Peg, we did go to a corningware store on the way back to my parents for a post christmas dinner.
On Saturday, we were on the road again, but going to North Jersey to visit Carolyn's grandparents on both sides of the family. We took Grandma Bartlett out for the lunch and helped her set up her new phone system that we and Carolyn's parents bought her for Christmas. Carolyn's aunt beth came over with her kids, and her aunt Bebe showed up later. It was a very nice visit.
Then we went to Carolyn's Grammy Montanari's house and picked up a big Tv for our family room. Her 2 uncle's were suppose to come over and help me get the tv into the car, but they did not show like planned, we were there over 2 hours waiting. It was still a nice visit and Carolyn' got to show her the wedding photos' that we had toting around ( we also showed them to Grandma Bartlett and her aunts). I carried the Tv myself so that we could make dinner with my brothers and cousins Who were eating dinner about 20 minutes from her grammy's house.
Dinner with the cousin's was a good time but much more expensive than we planned.
We got home after 11pm on saturday.
On Sunday, we went to church at Bayside church and then went home to pack up. My mom had left to go North for my Great aunts 80th birthday party, and my dad went out to see how my brother and uncle were doing with their fishing. We went to see my best friend Rob( who was also best man in my wedding) and his family. We had a great time, we played Dutch Blitz's( a card game) many, many times as we tried to beat the unbeatable Carolyn's and we had dinner with them. We left them and head for home. I felt like I needed a vacation from my vacation. It was a crazy and very busy weekend.
